In the name of God I Isaac
Forgerson of the Township of Jackson, Luzerne County and State of Pennsylvania,
being sick and weak of body, but of sound mind and memory and understanding
considering the certainty of death and the uncertainty of the time thereof and
to the end I may be the better prepared to leave the world whenever it shall
please God to call me hence do therefore make this my last Will and Testament
in manner as follows.
First and principally I commend my
soul into the hands of the Almighty God
my creator and as to my personal property and real estate my Will and desire is
that the expense of proving this Will and my funeral expences and paying all my
just debts to the full there my Will and desire is that my Wife Eliza Forgerson
to have the use of what maybe and remain for the term of ten years for the
purpose of bringing up the minor children.
Then I will and bequeath into my son
Samuel Forgerson and Uriah Forgerson and my daughter Marildah Forgerson the sum
of One hundred dollars each and to my daughters Faney Ransom and Catherine
Wagoner the sum of fifty dollars each and then what maybe and remain to be
divided among my son Uriah Fergorson and my daughter Jane Miers. Sarah Fergerson, Mary Fergerson, Marildah
Forgerson, Elisabeth Forgerson and Alivirah Forgerson to Share and Share
alike.
And I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint C.
W. Case of Jackson Township Luzerne County and State of Pennsylvania Executor
of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former distribution of
my said property I witness whereof I the said Testator Isaac Forgerson have to
this my last Will and Testament set my hand and seal the twenty seventh day of
February A. D. 1860
Signed Sealed published and declared by the said Testator Isaac Forgerson as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in the presents of each other subscribed our names as witness thereto.
