Be it remembered that Leonard Davenport of the township of Union in the County of Luzerne state of Pennsylvania being weak of body but of sound mind and memory blessed be Almighty God for the same do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner following,

I give and bequeath unto my beloved grandsons Charles and Israel Davenport all my free hold estate of all and in all those messuage or tenament with all the appertenances situate lying and being in the township of Union County and state aforesaid together with all my freehold estate whatsoever to have and to hold to them the said Charles Davenport and Israel Davenport, and I also give and bequeath unto my beloved son Leonard Davenport and his wife Abigal the privilege of all the above mentioned freehold and real estate which I have give and bequeath unto my grandsons so long as both or either of them shall live and afterwards to the use of the above mentioned grandsons.

Lastly I give and bequeath unto my beloved daughter-in-law Susan twenty five acres of land where she now live and lastly as to all the rest residue and remainder of whatsoever kind and nature I give and bequeath unto my beloved grandsons Charles and Israel above mentioned but I give and bequeath unto my beloved son Leonard and his wife Abigal the use of the same as long as either or both of them shall live and I hereby appoint Leonard Davenport my beloved son sole Executor of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the twenty ninth day of August A. D. 1829.
