Probated January, 3, 1837

In the name of God Amen. I, Walter Munson of the Township of Exeter in the County of Luzerne and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania being of sound mind memory and understanding, blessed by God for the same and considering the uncertainty of this mortal life and being desirous of settling my worldly affairs do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following to wit
Principally and first of all I commend my mortal soul to God who gave it and my body to the earth to be buried in a decent and christian like manner and to such worldly estate herewith it has pleased God to bless me in this life. I give and dispose of the same in the following manner to wit:

I give and bequeath to my son Abel, ninety acres of land in Kingston Township (?) such shall aforesaid it being the farm he now lives on.

I give to my son Mark one hundred acres of land it being the farm he now lives on in Kingston township aforenamed.

I give to my two Daughters Hannah and Anna one hundred acres of land to be equally divided between them it being a lot lying Bamridge Township Shanango County and state of New York, being a certain part of lot number fifty nine, and I give to my two daughters, Emily and Phebe the remainder of what land I own in Kingston adjoining to the lands of Mark Munson aforenamed and Nathan Mulford to be equally divided and I give to my three sons Solmon, Walter and George the lot and tract of land on which I now reside to be equally divided between them only reserving the improvements, and the movable property be my self as long as I live and to my wife after my death so long as she lives single and unmarried after my decease.

The movable property is to be divided between those that say and take care of us after our death, but if one or two of my three sons last named Solomon, Walter and George leave us or go off before our death the are not to have an equal share with those that stay, as for the first that goes off before our death he is to have One hundred and twenty of the end of the said lot adjoining the lands of Arthur Kelly, and the second that goes off before our death he is to have the remainder of the lot after two hundred acres is took of the end that my house stand on, for the one who stays to assist us.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty sixth day of February one thousand eight hundred and twenty four.

Signed sealed and declared by the above named Walter Munson to be his last will and testament in presence of us who have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses in the presence of the testator:
