In the name of God, Amen. I Robert Major of Lehman township in the County of Luzerne and the State of Pennsylvania being in good health of body & of sound and disposing mind and memory, do make an publish this my last Will and testament hereby revoking and making void all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made.

And first of all I order that all and every of my just and legal debts, together with my funeral expenses and the charges for proving this Will bein the first place fully paid and satisfied, and after payment thereof and every part thereof, I give and bequeath to my son Edward A. Major, the sum of ten Dollars.

To my son Henry Major, I give and bequeath One hundred and fifty Dollars.

To my son George J. Major, I give and bequeath the sum of One hundred and fifty Dollars.

To my son Thomas H. Major, I give and bequeath One hundred and fifty dollars.

To my daughter, Lucinda Gould wife of Elijah M. Gould I give and bequeath the sum of Three hundred and fifty Dollars.

To my daughter Elizabeth Boughtin wife of Morris Boughtin, I give and bequeath Three hundred and fifty Dollars.

To my daughter Rebecca Wilcox, wife of Chester L. Wilcox, I give and bequeath Three hundred and fifty Dollars.

To my Daughter Delphine Sutliff, wife of Justice Sutliff I give and bequeath the sum of Three hundred and fifty Dollars.

To my grand daughter Mary Wesley I give and bequeath to her sole and separate use only the sum of Two hundred Dollars, and after the death of my wife Sarah Major I desire that Rebecca Wilcox shall be the Guardian of said Mary Wilcox provided she shall not have attained sufficient age to care & provide for herself.

To my daughter Sarah Rogers, wife of Stephen Rogers, I give and bequeath the sum of Fifty Dollars.

To my grand children Robert D. Blanche & Clara Major, children of George J. Major I give and bequeath to seach the sum of Ten Dollars. I also give to Robert D. Major aforesaid one Silver Watch, it being the same watch which I now own.

To my grand children Lewis, Charles and Albert Major, children of Edward A. Major, I give and bequeath to each the sum of Ten Dollars.

To Homer Wilcox my grandson I give and bequeath the sum of Ten Dollars, said Homer being the son of Chester L. & Rebecca J. Wilcox.

To my grandchildren Fred & Cora Boughtin, children of Morris and Elizabeth Boughtin, I give and bequeath to each the sum of Ten ($10.00) Dollars.

To my grand Children, Theresa and Frank Gould, daughters of ELijah M. & Lucinda Gould I give and bequeath to each The sum of Ten Dollars.

To my grand children Arthur, Hetty and Alice Major Children of Thomas H. Major I give and bequeath to each Ten Dollars.

To my son-in-law Stephen Rogers I give and bequeath my Silver headed ebony Cane.

As to the residue and remainder of my Estate both Real and personal, I desire that the same be disposed of in such manner, as I shall in the future direct, I desire all of the aforesaid legacies to be given out of the personal effects of which I may die seized provided such personal effects shall cover the legacies bequeathed.

And I do hereby nominate, constitute and appoint my wife Sarah Major of Lehman and Thomas H. Major of the same place as Executrix and Executor of this my will.

And I also desire and ordain that my said Executrix and Executor, Administrator & Execute my desire on all and singular the Real and Personal Estate of which I shall die seized whether mentioned or contained in this Will or not, as I have or shall hereafter in the future direct by Will or otherwise. And I hereby declare this to be my last will and testament.

In witness whereof I the said testator, Robert Major have to this my last Will and testament set my hand and seal this Nineteenth day of July in the year of our Lord one Thousand eight hundred and seventy nine.

Signed sealed published and declared by the said testator Robert Major as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us, who in his presence and at his request have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto.
